Update: Titles & Milestones

We're happy to announce that another software update has been released on PodPledge today! This update includes several updates and improvements that recently found their way onto our to-do list. Here's what's new:

Today's update includes the following neat new items:

Merch Shop
A project's merchandise Shop page now uses the same image header at the top of its page that the rest of the project's pages do. (Previously, the Shop page had its own, separate header design.)

Project Updates
Project updates can now be given their own titles. (Previously, project updates were automatically named by the system as "Project Update #1", "Project Update #2", and so on.)

New and existing project updates can now be assigned to categories. All project updates start out assigned to a "General Updates" category. In the Project Update Editor, you can create new category names, and assign project updates to them.

On the project's public "Updates" page, the project's updates can now optionally be filtered by category. 

Project Milestones
Project Milestones now have four different types of targets that can be assigned to them. Milestones can be based on:
1. The total dollar value the project has raised. (Example: This project has raised $5,000.)
2. (NEW) The total dollar value of the project's monthly pledges. (Example: This project is raising $5,000 per month.)
3. The total number of pledges the project has received. (Example: This project has received 5,000 pledges.)
4. (NEW) The project's number of monthly pledges. (Example: This project has 5,000 supporters pledging each month.)

Miscellaneous
Minor improvements and edits were made to various pages, including the Milestone Editor the Merchandise Editor, and the Previous Project Updates page.

These updates are already in place on the website, and ready to use. There's more updates in development, so watch for more exciting new features and improvements in the days to come. In the meantime, we hope these updates help you to Stay Inspired!
